I used to watch a lot of those programs when I were on t' dole. Pipkins being one of my favourites. Hartley Hare was the most deviant kids -TV character ever.
And what about the banned episode of Mr Ben when he went into the costume shop and dressed up as a victoria era tart?
I remember having a thing about Pippi Longstocking, the original live version not some cheap cartoon rubbish, oh no! That Swedish girl did something for this 8 year old brat i can tell you.
Now there.
Crown Court - now that was when law was sorted out. Not like nowadays with mistrials, get offs for obvious criminals etc.
No, Crown Court had everything done in an hour and the only adjournments was for advertisement breaks. I wish Michael Jackson's case had been heard in front of a Crown Court jury - that would have fixed him.
Ha! They showed the live version Pippi Longstocking on satellite in the mid 90's on a German channel. It was dubbed into German and I didn't have a clue what was going on but it was brilliant. Pippi Langstrumpf.
Ahh the Singing Ringing tree, I almost bought that recently. But then I shat my pants and didn't. Not a very interesting story.
